So here's the thing...

There was this thing I used to do...

This blog I used to have...

I was pretty faithful about writing and visiting all of my friends...

Then suddenly - life interfered.

Everything was crazy. Everything was hectic. Everything was a crisis.

Whew...

What a long year...

So, I wised up. Took a deep breath, took control and said enough.
Enough drama. Enough racing around and getting nothing done. Enough being broke and never seeing my child...

Then I bought a restaurant.

???

I know. Crazy, huh?

So, here it is - Friday afternoon and we are getting ready for a snow storm. I'm sitting in my lovely kitchen and suddenly I wanted to blog and tell anyone who might still be listening - all about it.

Isn't it cute?  There is a little fireplace in the corner and a few more tables...i love it.

My life is still busy and crazy, but I'm much happier with it.  Little man is in a good school and doing pretty well.  I just got him in an after-school program, so he doesn't have to sit here all afternoon with me.. How many french fries can one boy eat, anyhow?

Oh, it's called the Lazy Day Cafe.  If you are so inclined, we have a page on Facebook that you can join and see what specials and things are cooking.  We are still working on our web page...

Let me know what you think.  I will post the menu soon too...

GREAT looking place! A restaurant, though?! Woman, are ya outta your mind?!

    :-)

Sorry -- spent many of my formative years working in my parent's restaurant. I can still smell the fries...
